Place the unprogrammed intelligent access key in the backup slot and press the push button ignition switch. Press the push button ignition switch. To program the new keys you should work with the ignition key programming features. Press the driver and passenger power door unlock control three times.

Whether you have a new or a spare intelligent access key follow these instructions. Switch the ignition off and remove the first coded key from the ignition. You may want to program a new or spare intelligent accesss key yourself. Remove the intelligent access key.

You start by setting the ignition switch to off before using a new key in the ignition and setting it to on. Make sure the ignition switch is off before you insert a new key into it. To complete this process click on okay. If programming was not successful wait 10 seconds and repeat steps 1 through 7.

Remove the intelligent access key. Within 10 seconds place a second programmed intelligent access key in the middle of the tray. Have your unprogrammed intelligent access key in the center console pocket and keep two previously programmed keys inside the vehicle. Wait five seconds and then press the push button ignition switch again.

It unlocks the door to let you in and allows you to start the engine using the push button start feature if equipped. If so the following instructions will walk you through the process. Once you press okay you can now do the same for the second key to complete the process. Verify the remote control functions operate and your vehicle starts with the new intelligent access key.

Once the new key is inserted you can then proceed to switch it from off to on. Programming is now complete. Within 10 seconds place a second programmed intelligent access key in the backup slot. Push down and release the brake pedal once.
